Susan G. Komen for the Cure taps Bromley Communiications for PR and Integrated Hispanic Platform


Bromley Communications has been selected as the Hispanic marketing communications partner fo Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R). The announcement was made after completomg a competitove search for an agency to strengthen the world's largest breast cancer organizationn's outreach efforts aimed at reducing breast cancer mortality among Latinas.

"When it comes to Latinas, breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer incidence and deaths," said Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R), Katrina McGhee. "We will empower Hispanic women with life-saving education on the disease, risk factors, screening methods and other healthy lifestyle messages so that they are motivated to take the necessary steps to make a difference and seize the promise of a full life. Our new Hispanic marketing program builds on Komen's commitment to healthy communities.

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R) promise is tho save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find cures. Komen is the largest non-profit funder of Breast cancer research outside of the U.S. government, investing more thatn $610 million to breast cancer research since the organization was founded in 1982.
