WOMEN

It is expected there will be over 66 million Latinas by 2050. This is over a 194% increase from 2000. During the same time period (2000 to 2050, the total U.S. female population is anticipated to grow only 48%.)
***By 2050, Latinas will be fully one-quarter of the U.S. female population!!!***
As of 2005, Latinas comprise 20.5 million women in the U.S. or 13.6% of the total female population. (Mexicans are 66% of all Hispanic females)
***Latinas are a larger proportion among all women in the younger age brackets – below 39.***
